Oversized transportation
Transportation of oversized cargo on public roads is the most difficult segment in cargo transportation. Before starting oversized transportation of third-party cargoes, LUKAS-CRANE gained many years of experience in the transportation of its oversized truck cranes weighing up to 72 tons and up to three meters wide. Also, our company made the transfer of its truck cranes on a trawl, in order to save the running resources of special equipment.
LUKAS-CRANE approaches with the highest responsibility the transportation of oversized cargo of the customer, which is confirmed by many successful, complex oversized transportation.
First of all, our specialists make a careful selection of the trawl, based on the dimensions and weight of the cargo. The trawl must fully comply not only with the requirements of maximum permissible dimensions together with the load, but also comply with the configuration, weight distribution and methods of loading this cargo.
After the selection of the trawl, LUKAS-KRAN logisticians carefully study all route options for the quality of roads, passing the route under low bridges, tunnels, wires, over bridges and overpasses, based on all their parameters.
After choosing the optimal route, the company "LUKAS-CRANE" promptly coordinates everything with the Federal Road Administration of each region on the oversized transportation route and receives the appropriate permission.

House of Peter 1
Also, our company in the autumn unloaded Peter's House 1 at the port - a gift from Holland.
In 2013, a full-size model of the house was donated to Russia by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as part of the cross year of Russian-Dutch cooperation. At the moment, the model is being erected on the territory of the Moscow Museum-Reserve "Kolomenskoye" by the 101st Engineering Battalion of the city of Wesep of the Dutch Armed Forces.
